Volta and Oti Women in Agriculture Network (VOWAN)
is a configuration of women small farm holder groups
in the Volta and Oti Regions of Ghana.
The Configuration is registered with the Registrar General Department.
The Association currently has about 50 groups with a total
number of about 2000 members.
OUR MISSION

To empower the members economically through:

Skills training

Income generation activities

Micro financing/village savings

Organize capacity building programmes in business management, group dynamics and management, human rights and grooming women leaders

Undergo advocacy activities in favour of women and the less previledged in agriculture

Promote nutrition, hygiene and reproductive health issues and HIV/AIDS education/sensitization among women

Undertake cooperative activities
